1. Basilica of Koekelberg:

Basilica KoekelbergThe Basilica of Koekelberg is the 5th biggest church in the world, with it’s art deco style and offers an exceptionnal view on the city!
At 52.80 meters, just under the dome, walk on the outside gallery where you can discover the best view of Brussels and the Flemish and Walloon Brabants. On clear days you can even see the Cathedral of Malines and the Ronquières Inclined Plane!

2. Cinquantenaire Triumphal Arch:

View from Cinquantenaire archBuilt from 1904 to 1905 by the architect Charles Girault, this triple arcade of the Cinquantenaire commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of Belgian independence. For the panorama deck, enter via to the army museum (free), take directly to your left and follow the signs “arcades” take the elevator to the top floor. Walk on both arcades and get two stunning views of Brussels!

3. Top of the Atomium (& Restaurant):

Top of AtomiumUnlike some other viewpoints landlocked downtown, the Atomium, is located on a plateau naturally raised on the outskirts and offers the only true 360 ° panorama of all the Brussels district. An exceptional view from an exceptional building!

4. Parking 58 – de Brouckère:

Parking 58 - ViewStrange paradox, as from Parking 58, you will see one of the best view of brussels… from one of the ugliest building in Down town Brussels center! But once you have reached the 10th floor, enjoy a magnificent 360 degree view of the ciy, and don’t miss the Grand Place Town hall, basilica of Koekelberg, the Brussels Courthouse and the Atomium!

Take the lift on the right at the entrance, and go to the 10th floor. A good tip is to go on sunday, as the parking is nearly empty! To escape for a moment from the bustle of the Lower City, take a little height to enjoy a the view of Brussels view in the quite.

Parking 58 is situated in the very center of the town at only 100m from La Monnaie.

5. Place Poelaert – Justice Court:

Place PoelaertThe Place Poelaert is an inescapable corners of Brussels, overlooking the lower town of Brussels by sixty-three meters. From this unique vantage point in our capital, you can see the Basilica of Koekelberg, the King Baudouin Stadium, the Atomium, the financial district … The observation is almost 180 °.

The place is facing the biggest Brussels building, the Courthouse build in the 19th century (Bigger than the St Pieter Basilica in Rome!). Enjoy the city sunset, an then take the lift (free) on the right to join the lower city level (Marolles) to find a table in one of these typical retaurants.

 

6. MIM Museum (Restaurant):

Restaurant Mim MuseumLocated on the top of this awesome Art Nouveau building (Formerly known as the Old England Shop), the restaurant and terrace offer stunning views of the historic center of the Belgian capital. Undoubtedly, this is a must for any tourist passing through, or for any self-respecting Brussels!

7. Top of Town Hall Tower on the Grand Place:

The Brussels town hall is a magnificent building dating from 1402. From the the top of the tower you will have a unique panoramic view of the city!

8. Kameleon Sky (Viage Brussels Casino & restaurant)

The Kameleon Sky gourmet restaurant is located on the 7th floor of Viage. The rooftop terrace offers a unique view of the historic center of Brussels. On the menu: delicious Belgian cuisine with a Mediterranean touch, combined with a beautiful map of Italian wines. Just have a drink on the terrace of the 7th floor of the Viage Brussels Casino, and enjoy a very nice view on Brussels city center.

Up Site - skydeckThe Up Site tower located along the Brussels canal and just in front of the Tour and taxi site is still under construction (end of work expected in 2014). The tower of 140m height will mix apartment and offices on a total of 42 floors. The top floor panoramic terrace will offer one of the most amazing view of the city! Accessible to everyone (no entrance fee), the terrace will be able to accept 40 to 50 visitors a the same time.
